Mauvoisin. The most imposing building in the Val de Bagnes awaits you on this last Ride the Alps of the 2025 season. From Le Châble to the foot of the dam, 17.7km (including 11.5km closed to motorized traffic) and 1,050m of ascent await you.

To accompany you on your ascent, you'll contemplate the emblematic peaks of the Val de Bagnes and the first autumn colors blooming on the thorns of the larches. At the summit, Lac de Mauvoisin and the triptych of Mont Rogneux, Rosablanche and Grand Combin await you. In short, the last one is definitely worth the detour.

* Would you like to cycle directly to us from La Plaine? Great! However, we strongly advise you to take the train between Martigny and Le Châble to avoid the international road leading to the Grand Saint-Bernard (or the Col des Planches to bring back memories of last year and arrive well warmed up at the start 😅).

Partner offers

Signing up for Ride the Alps once again offers you a whole host of advantages. For example - as with previous rides this year - our title partner Alpiq is offering you (your choice) a coffee & croissant at the start or a CHF 5 voucher to be redeemed in one of the following cafés-restaurants along the route:

  • Hotel de Mauvoisin
  • Bonatchiesse Mountain Resort
  • Café de la Promenade
  • Restaurant le Mazot
  • Hotel de la Vallée
  • Hotel-Restaurant Fionnay Grand-Combin

Co-organizer of this event, the Société de développement du Val de Bagnes is also offering you a CHF 5 voucher for use in local cafés and restaurants.

Taking part in Ride the Alps Val de Bagnes also means taking advantage of a superb joint offer with Bagnes Capital de la Raclette. Each participant - on presentation of his or her wristband - will receive a 50% discount on the Saturday day pass.
